The Chilean retro-synth superhero is back on Emerald & Doreen with an essential package for all 80s synth lovers - so basically everybody who loved the emotional synth sounds of the "Drive" movie. "Ghost in the Streets" sounds like the title theme to the sci-fi sequel of John Carpenter's masterpiece "The End" - dark, athmospheric, futuristic. You literally can see the street lights flashing by when you imagine yourself sitting in a 2032 hover Ferrari on patrol, chasing interdimensional entities down the Miami bridge to Cuba. "Unknown man" is a very tender sea-side retro synth masterpiece. It is Statickman's most emotional piece so far, embracing the listener with its soft layered synth pads, heavenly strings and a soothing piano. Seems like the unknown man is a pretty nice guy. "Love tonight" is a fat synth funk masterpiece that sounds like New York 1983, with Africa Bambaataa's Soul Sonic Force just around the corner, charging their love lase...
