In The Round is the second album of Canadian progressive rock artist, Tristan Zaba. The last album, Thoughts Past Pondered, was released in 2012. This one differs in the sense that it has a much more unifying concept, slightly more atypical music, a large and diversified group of musicians, and more varied instrumentation. Some of the more non-standard instruments featured on the album include clarinet, flute, strings, and glockenspiel.
The concept revolves around a character named Morgan and his pursuit of inner peace. The antagonist comes in the form of The Watchman, another facet of Morgan's personality counteracting the more dominant side of Morgan's character.
