All my songs are original, they include historical, mythical and environmental themes, as well as spiritual allegory.

'Welcome to the Earth' is my first complete album, which was recorded in Bristol, produced by Patrick Duff and Tim Hurford, to whom I offer my deepest thanks for their talent and support.

I grew up listening to Show of Hands and count Steve Knightley's songwriting as my first great inspiration. I've also been greatly influenced by Robin Williamson and Mike Heron of the Incredible String Band; they are two marvelous musicians and prolific songwriters.

I naturally consider myself to be in the Folk tradition - I had my beginnings playing traditional folk tunes, singing traditional ballads and listening to folk music - however my music also includes folk-rock, rock and psychedelic elements.
