Kaboom is an independent pop/rock band from South Mississippi, founded by Dustin Kahlil and Steve Mills, two key members of Dustin Kahlil Band. Kahlil and Mills finished in the top ten of the global voting round for Hard Rock Rising's 2012 competition with their previous project, a feat they would go on to repeat in 2013 with Kaboom.
