Clark’s alter ego as one-fifth of the popular Pueblo Americana outfit The Haunted Windchimes has seen him sharing stages with everyone from Ramblin’ Jack Elliott to Garrison Keillor, playing before a listening audience of 4 million on A Prairie Home Companion last year.

First gaining notoriety from a series of frenetic dance‐party live performances in 2011‐2012, Mike Clark & the Sugar Sounds deliver a style steeped in rock & roll and suffused with garage soul, showcasing a super-group’s worth of Colorado blues, folk and rock artists in their prime: Inaiah Lujan (guitar/The Haunted Windchimes), Marc Benning (bass/34 Satellite), Alex Koshak (percussion/The Grant Sabin Band), Grant Sabin (trumpet/The Grant Sabin Band), and Ian Bourgal (sax/The Changing Colors).
