Inspirational Jazz
At the age of 14, Francis Leggett, a self accomplished musician, embellished the legendary styles of George Benson, Norman Brown, and Wes Montgomery.
He began playing for local bands and gospel groups traveling from the east coast.
As a young man, Leggett was afforded the opportunity to tour European countries playing gospel.
However, after several years of touring, he yearned for the music he enjoyed the most.
He gave up travel to return to his first musical love, Jazz.
Today, Leggett is a left-handed guitarist who has produced his first album entitled, Inspiratiional Jazz.
He is currently working on his next album in his home studio.
His combination of styles can be heard throughout his CD
"Shorty", as he is commonly known, uses both electric and acoustic guitars.
