'False Awakening' is an exciting new collaboration from Jason Grey and Northern Irish producer Gordon Coutts, a long-time supporter of the Crossing Over label. Gordon's melodic tech trance style, and Jason's bass-driven progressive sound come together to create an upbeat, up-tempo hybrid-style track. Tribal rhythms sit behind a series of vocal samples, while robotic, synth-driven breakdowns clash with the spiralling vibe of the build-up and beat drop. 'False Awakening' is the first outing for this production duo - this could be the start of something big.
