Joe Meek - Telstar: Anthology
Maverick producer Joe Meek's story is now legendary thanks to the 2005 film and West End hit Telstar, the name of both The Tornado's UK and US number 1 smash and our 75 track set. A former Royal Air Force radar technician, Joe experimented and innovated using limiters, compressors and all manner of recording techniques to create his signature, futuristic sound in the living room, bathroom and toilet of his three-floor flat.
