Valerius has accomplished a lot in short time: a hit single, shows on the biggest platforms, support from different media and also a debut album that ranks high in the Dutch charts.   The ambitious brothers Jesse and Kay Nambiar early knew what they wanted to accomplish. When they were about twelve years old they started to sing and started to take guitar lessons. They searched for their own sound from a young beginning. Setting up a real band was just a matter of time and that band became Valerius. Named after the Valeriusplein (Valeriussquare) in Amsterdam, where they went to school and where they made their first rehearsal space. ''A cool period'', Kay remembers.
